Riva Beach Club Dubai: Day Pass Prices, Hours & What’s Included

riva beach club dubai

A Riva Beach Club day pass costs AED 99 for an adult from Monday to Thursday, and AED 89 of that comes back as food and drink credit. From Friday to Sunday the pass is AED 175 with AED 150 credit, so a guest who spends the full credit pays AED 10 on a weekday and AED 25 at the weekend.

Riva is Dubai’s first independent beach club, a temperature-controlled pool and a private beach on Palm Jumeirah with views of the Arabian Gulf, the Burj Al Arab and the Downtown skyline. Children, dogs and walk-in guests are all welcome, and parking is free.

Day pass prices & food credit

Adults pay AED 99 on weekdays and AED 175 from Friday to Sunday, and the weekend rate also applies on public holidays. Most of the entry price returns as credit that can be spent in the restaurant and bar.

Pass Price Food & drink credit Cost if the credit is fully used
Adult, Monday to Thursday AED 99 AED 89 AED 10
Adult, Friday to Sunday & public holidays AED 175 AED 150 AED 25
Child, every day AED 99 AED 99 AED 0
Child aged 8 & under Free None Free

The threshold that matters is the credit. A guest who plans a lunch and a couple of drinks will use AED 89 easily, which makes the weekday pass close to free entry. A guest who only wants a swim and a sunbed is paying for credit they may not need.

Weekday and weekend pass holders also get 20% off food and wine.

What entry includes

A standard pass covers:

  • Access to the pool and the private beach
  • One sun lounger and an umbrella
  • A fresh towel
  • Changing rooms and showers
  • Complimentary Wi-Fi
  • Free parking

Outside food and drinks are not permitted, so every meal and drink on site comes from the Riva restaurant and bar.

Opening hours & access

Riva is open every day from 7 AM to 11 PM. The pool and beach stay open until 10 PM, and the restaurant and bar run to 11 PM.

Two time-based offers change what an evening costs:

  • Happy hour: AED 38 per drink from a select menu, from 3 PM to 9 PM Monday to Thursday and all day from Friday to Sunday.
  • After Dark by the Pool: AED 199 for pool access and a two-hour house beverage package, from 7 PM to 10 PM.

Weekly offers & social calendar

Riva runs a food or drink deal on most days, so the day chosen changes the value of a visit.

Monday Steak & wine AED 129
Tuesday Tacos Tuesday From AED 49
Wednesday Ladies’ Day: pool access, one appetizer, house drinks at AED 35 all day, 40% off at Dreamworks Spa with the receipt AED 85

How to get there

Riva sits at Shoreline Palm Building 8, between Shoreline 7 and 8 on the trunk of Palm Jumeirah.

By car

Parking is free under both Shoreline buildings, and reception validates the ticket. Paid public parking is also available at the entrance.

By public transport

There is no Dubai Metro station on Palm Jumeirah, so the rail route combines the metro, the Dubai Tram and the Palm Monorail:

  1. Take the Red Line to Sobha Realty or DMCC station and change to the Dubai Tram.
  2. Ride the tram to the Palm Jumeirah stop and cross the footbridge to Palm Gateway Station, about a 10-minute walk.
  3. Board the Palm Monorail to Al Ittihad Park station, which is close to the Shoreline buildings.
  4. Enter through the lobby to the B1 floor and show the booking at reception.

Booking a visit

Walk-ins are accepted every day and no reservation is required. A day pass reservation is also available through WhatsApp or by emailing Reservations@riva-beach.com, and the direct line is +971 4 430 9466.

Group bookings are available.

Is Riva Beach Club worth it?

Riva is worth it for families, pet owners and anyone who wants a Palm Jumeirah beach day on a weekday budget.

What works in its favour:

  • A weekday adult pass nets out at AED 10 once the credit is spent.
  • Children aged 8 and under enter free, and the child pass is fully redeemable.
  • Parking is free and walk-ins are welcome.
  • The pool and beach stay open until 10 PM.
  • The daily offers make Monday to Thursday strong value.

What to weigh against it:

  • Outside food and drinks are not allowed, so every meal is bought on site.
  • The weekend adult pass is AED 175, which nets out at AED 25 after the credit.
  • There is no metro station on the Palm, so the rail route needs a tram and a monorail connection.

A Monday to Thursday meal-and-swim day is where Riva is strongest, and a weekend visit costs AED 76 more per adult.
