Sharjah Classic Car Museum: Hours, Tickets & What’s Inside
Entry to the Sharjah Classic Car Museum costs AED 10 for an adult and AED 5 for a child. For that price you get more than 100 restored cars across five halls, from a 1915 vehicle to a 1974 MG Midget.
The museum sits on Airport Road beside Sharjah International Airport. Some listings call the same place the Sharjah Old Cars Club. A full walk-through takes about an hour to an hour and a half.

That makes Friday a four-hour day against twelve hours for the rest of the week. A full tour runs up to 90 minutes, so on a Friday you should be through the door by 6:30 PM. Any other day, arriving between 8:00 AM and 6:30 PM covers the whole museum.
Ticket prices & free entry
Visitors aged 13 and over pay AED 10, and children aged 2 to 12 pay AED 5. Two adults with two children in that age range pay AED 30 in total.
These groups enter free:
- Children under 2
- Seniors aged 60 and over
- People of determination
- School trips
Tickets are sold at the entrance counter. Advance entry tickets can also be booked through the ticket booking page on the museum site.
What the collection includes
The museum opened in 2008 and was renovated and reopened in 2013. Its five halls are arranged by period, so walking through them follows the development of the car hall by hall.

- The oldest vehicle on display dates to 1915.
- The range runs from a Model T Ford to a 1974 MG Midget.
- A 1969 Mercedes Pullman limousine, built for Sharjah’s ruler, stands among the highlights. Just 2,000 examples of that model are in the world.
- Vintage advertisements from each era hang alongside the cars.
- Motorcycles and bicycles sit with the cars in the displays.
- Children get their own interactive area with puzzles and a driving simulator.
The cars are restored to a polished finish, which makes the early models easy to read up close.
Location & directions
The museum is on Airport Road between the 4th and 5th intersections, next to Sharjah International Airport and opposite the Sharjah Discovery Centre.
A Google Maps pin on the museum’s coordinates takes you straight to the site. Because the Discovery Centre faces the museum, it works as a landmark when you are driving along Airport Road.

Parking
Parking is free on site, so a visit to the museum adds no cost beyond the ticket.
Planning your visit
- Time: Allow 1 to 1.5 hours. The museum is compact, so it suits a one-hour stop better than a half-day outing.
- Friday: Arrive by 6:30 PM to fit a full tour before the 8:00 PM close.
- Families: The AED 5 child ticket and the kids’ area with a driving simulator make it an easy stop with children aged 2 to 12.
- Combining stops: The Sharjah Discovery Centre, a children’s science and entertainment venue, is directly opposite, which makes a second stop on the same trip simple.
