What’s inside

Everything sits on the ground floor and the mezzanine. The main anchors are:

  • Supermarket: a Carrefour on the mezzanine for everyday groceries.
  • Dining: Danial Restaurant, a buffet serving Iranian, Arabic and wider Middle Eastern dishes, plus a handful of cafés.
  • Fitness: 360 Fitness, a gym on the mezzanine.
  • Home goods: a Homes R Us furniture store on the ground floor, selling furniture, décor and household items.
  • Fashion: Reem’s Closet on the mezzanine, which resells designer women’s fashion.

It is a neighbourhood centre, so plan on a short stop for a grocery run, a meal or a workout rather than a half-day outing.

Opening hours

The centre is open from 10 am to 10 pm, seven days a week. Some outlets, including Danial Restaurant and the gym, set their own hours, so the shop doors are not the only schedule to check before a meal or a workout.

Parking rates & payment

What parking costs

The first 90 minutes each day are free, and each hour or part of an hour after that is AED 5. The car park runs on a ticketless system, so your licence plate acts as the ticket.

Time parked Fee
Up to 1 hr 30 min Free
Up to 2 hr 30 min AED 5
Up to 3 hr 30 min AED 10
Up to 4 hr 30 min AED 15

Frequent visitors can buy membership, but only through the PARKONIC+ app: AED 500 for a month, AED 3,000 for six months and AED 6,000 for a year. A monthly pass equals 100 paid hours at the hourly rate, so it only pays off if you park for around 5 or more paid hours on most working days.

How payment works

You have three ways to pay, and you need to settle before you leave the car park:

  1. Scan the QR code on the on-site signage and pay on your phone.
  2. Do nothing and let the fee come out of your vehicle’s SALIK account when you exit. SALIK is the default payment method.
  3. Register your vehicle in the PARKONIC+ app and pay there.

Cash is not accepted and there are no pay machines. If you have no SALIK account or too little balance on it, pay by QR code or in the app before you drive out.

Rules that catch people out

  • Public holidays are not exempt: parking is paid on them too.
  • The free 90 minutes is a one-time allowance. Coming back after it has passed counts as a new entry with no free period.
  • Unpaid parking can lead to fines, blacklisting or legal action.

How to get there

The nearest metro stop is Burj Khalifa/Dubai Mall on the Red Line, and the car park holds about 600 vehicles.

By metro

Get off at Burj Khalifa/Dubai Mall station and walk along Sheikh Zayed Road to the centre, a trip of 6 to 9 minutes on foot.

By bus

The Mazaya Center 01 and Mazaya Center 02 stops are within a 3 to 5 minute walk of the entrance. Line 14 stops at Mazaya Center 01.

By car or taxi

Search for Mazaya Shopping Centre on Sheikh Zayed Road in your navigation app, or open the Mazaya Shopping Centre map pin directly. Taxis and ride-hailing apps both serve the address, and “Mazaya Centre, Sheikh Zayed Road” works as the destination.

Apartments & offices above the centre

The upper floors hold 132 apartments and a block of offices. Apartment sizes run as follows:

  • Studio: about 721 sq ft
  • 1-bedroom: about 759 sq ft
  • 2-bedroom: 1,076 to 1,189 sq ft
  • 3-bedroom: 1,658 to 2,038 sq ft

Residents get a 24-hour concierge whose staff speak Arabic, English, French, Hindi and Russian, plus a gym, a temperature-controlled swimming pool, a barbecue area and a business centre. The building has a security team, surveillance cameras, a security alarm and backup generators, and DEWA supplies utilities.

Strengths & limits

What works well

  • Open 10 am to 10 pm every day.
  • The free 90-minute window covers a grocery run plus a meal.
  • A supermarket, a gym and a restaurant share one building.
  • The metro station is within 6 to 9 minutes on foot.

Where it falls short

  • With around 50 outlets, the range is narrow compared with a large mall.
  • Parking is charged beyond 90 minutes, and a same-day return does not restart the free period.
  • Cash cannot be used anywhere in the car park.
